After our July show was cancelled due to a power cut, it felt incredible to bring Amsterdam Vinyl Club back for its second event.

The evening opened with DJ Necto Lucas – a selector who’s shared stages with some of the world’s biggest DJs and who remains a familiar face at AVC, often bringing treasures from his personal record collection to sell at our shows.

DJ Boudewijn also joined the family – another loyal member who would later help us secure bookings and build an AVC Spotify archive preserving playlists from our live events.

DJ Fresh Fruit finally made his AVC debut after missing out due to the cancelled July show, while Sean Sanchez brought a sophisticated touch to the decks with his wave, disco, funk and electronic selections.

And, of course, AVC would not have been AVC without DJ Roland and DJ Tea & 2 Sugars. Their distinctive styles, encyclopaedic music knowledge and willingness to support the club became part of the invisible glue holding the whole damned thing together.
