Amsterdam Vinyl Club Vol 9 was our busiest show so far.

We were delighted to welcome so many new faces through the doors, alongside plenty of AVC regulars who continue to make the club a genuine community.

Our vinyl market was bigger than ever, featuring three guest sellers and a wonderfully varied selection of records – from smooth 1950s crooners and vintage soul to underground dance music and hardcore rave. Whether visitors arrived with a shopping list or simply a curiosity to dig through the crates, there was plenty to discover.

The evening also introduced two new DJs to the AVC family. Ceyda and Frikadick both rose to the occasion and helped get the party swinging with confident, crowd-pleasing sets that set the tone for the night ahead.

We were especially thrilled that DJ Cherry Cola chose to celebrate his birthday with us – and thanks again for the cake! It was also fantastic to welcome DJ Hatchobori and farmer (Juri) back to the decks, bringing their distinctive sounds and energy back to the AVC crowd. Thanks too to Juri’s friend Alex, who joined him to help bring the evening to a dramatic and memorable close.

Special shoutout to Mr RÖCK! and his gloriously loud party-rock set – pure joy from start to finish. He also holds a unique AVC record: the only DJ we’ve ever hosted whose voice somehow managed to be louder than the music!

Looking back, AVC Vol 9 felt like another milestone for Amsterdam Vinyl Club – a packed room, great records, new DJs stepping forward and the sort of atmosphere that reminds us exactly why we started the club in the first place.
