SELLING VINYL

The first AVC community event of 2026 welcomed a fresh wave of selectors behind the turntables.

Experienced DJs Nympho and Mark McDermott brought serious skills to the decks, each delivering diverse sets that kept the atmosphere upbeat and energetic.

We were delighted to see DJ Cherry Cola behind the turntables for the first time. Since arriving in Amsterdam from the US, he’s become a familiar face at AVC – and we loved rocking out to his high-energy punk set.

DJ Jaimy also returned to AVC, treating us to the deep house, 2-step and UK garage sounds that first inspired him on Amsterdam's legendary club scene.

DJ Miro was back behind the decks as well, bringing a vinyl selection rooted in techno, progressive house and underground sounds of the Dutch rave scene.

And, of course, it wouldn’t be an Amsterdam Vinyl Club show without our longest-serving selector, DJ Roland, who treated us to a 1976 at CBGB's themed set, including cuts from the New York Dolls, Television and Suicide.
