At Amsterdam Vinyl Club we'll be awarding prizes to record hunters.

Our first event is on Thursday 12 June at BR020 on Marnixstraat 325H, 1016 TC. Entry is free and the show starts around 7.30pm.

We want you to bring along the most interesting and unusual records in your collection, and we'll award prizes in the following categories:

1. Weirdest album cover

   LP sleeves that are unusual, offbeat or downright deranged

2. Strangest record

   Specialist records that make you wonder, 'How the hell did this ever get released on vinyl?'

3. Best bargain

   An incredible or valuable record you bought second-hand for an unbelievable bargain price

4. Eye-sizzling wax

   The wildest coloured vinyl or picture disc you own

To win prizes for you collectibles, you should:

• bring along the records you want to enter in the categories listed above to our first event on Thursday 12 June at BR020 on Marnixstraat 325H, 1016 TC

• at the show there will be a call-out from the stage to see your entries – we'll let you know how to enter your records on the night

• prizes will be awarded towards the end of the show, around 10pm
