At Amsterdam Vinyl Club we want to give you a free space to sell records you no longer need.

Our first event is on Thursday 12 June at BR020 on Marnixstraat 325H, 1016 TC. Entry is free and the show starts around 7.30pm.

Here’s how the record selling will work:

• at Amsterdam Vinyl Club there will be loads of vinyl to browse – but there will also be a mysterious 'guest box'

• during each of our four 25-minute guest DJ sets, one pre-arranged guest will be allowed to use the box to sell a selection of their unwanted records

If you'd like to be one of our guest sellers at the first Amsterdam Vinyl Club, here's what to do:

Selling slots will be awarded randomly. We'll put the names of all potential sellers into Paul Young's hat, give it a jiggle, then draw the names of 4 winners. We'll then contact the guest sellers directly to arrange the details.

Here are the conditions for guest sellers:

• all selling slots are pre-arranged and sellers will be contacted well before the event on Thursday 12 June

• guest sellers will be responsible for transporting their records to BR020. You may be able to drop records off early – but we'll confirm details nearer the time

• guest sellers can bring along a maximum of 40 vinyl records to sell (a mixture of LPs, 10-inches and 7-inches)

• guests sellers are responsible for their records at all times. You'll load the record box, manage the box and any sales during your 25-minute slot, and unpack the box after your slot finishes

• cash sales are advised – but if you want to use Tikkie or another service, that’s up to you and your buyer

• neither Amsterdam Vinyl Club nor BR020 can take any responsibility for your records or sales – we're offering you a free platform to sell to other collectors, but you need to take care of you stuff!

• no rubbish or damaged records, OK? This is a rare chance to sell directly to other collectors, do don't screw it up!
